Do project owners ever pay?
No. Posting a project, getting estimates, quotes, bids or proposals, and connecting with contractors are free for project owners, with no obligation to hire. Optional contractor upgrades never change what owners pay.
When does a contractor pay the success fee?
Only after winning a job through BidBridge Texas. The contractor reports the final contract value within 14 days of signing, and the fee is based on that value: a flat $150 under $10,000, 2% from $10,000 to $100,000, and a tiered rate above $100,000 (2% of the first $100K, 1.5% of the portion from $100K to $400K, and 1% above $400K).
Do I need Verified Pro or Featured Contractor to get work?
No. Every verified contractor is matched, can respond to projects and can win work for free. Verified Pro and Featured Contractor are optional upgrades. The success fee applies only on a win either way.
What is the founding price for Verified Pro?
Verified Pro is $49 per month. The first 25 contractors who join it lock in a founding price of $29 per month.
How does Featured Contractor placement work?
Featured Contractors get top placement on trade-by-city pages, such as commercial electrical contractors in Dallas. Placement is limited to 3 Featured Contractors per trade per metro, so it stays meaningful.
